Summary

The FY 2027 Appropriation Resolutions cover all major City funds — General, Capital, Wastewater, Transit, Stormwater Utility, Cable, Old Town, Transportation Tax, and Debt Service — and together constitute the City's formal budget authority for fiscal year 2027. On April 14, 2026, the resolutions were introduced unanimously by the full City Council as part of the consent agenda. On May 5, 2026, a special Budget Adoption meeting was held during which a public hearing on the resolutions took place; staff presented the report and one member of the public, David Gellar, spoke in opposition to the real estate tax rate. The Mayor closed the hearing without action on that item, deferring formal consideration to agenda item 3g of the same meeting. As of the most recent record, final adoption has not yet been documented.

Open questions & options on the table
